Heart-Shaped Beeswax Tealight Candle
Our heart-shaped tealight candle is a sweet and simple way to bring the beauty of beeswax into your home. With its natural golden hue and gentle honey scent, it’s perfect for cozy evenings or special moments.
Approx. 4x4x1.5cm in size, this tealight is made from pure beeswax harvested from our own hives in Devon. If we need more, we work closely with local beekeepers to keep everything sustainable and close to home.
Did you know? Bees make beeswax by producing tiny flakes from their wax glands and chewing them to form the honeycomb. This fascinating natural process provides the bees with storage for honey and creates the incredible material we use for our candles.
As beeswax is a natural material, the color may vary slightly depending on the flowers our bees have visited. Each candle is a little piece of nature, crafted with care.
Candle Safety Information
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans, and air currents to prevent uneven burning or flare-ups.
- Never touch or move a candle while the wax is liquid or the candle is still hot.
- Always burn candles on or near non-flammable surfaces; keep them clear of flammable materials like curtains, paper, or furniture.
- Use a candleholder specifically designed for candle use. Ensure it’s level, stable, and made of heat-resistant material.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents.
- Keep the wax pool clean and free of wick trimmings, matches, and debris to avoid flaring or uneven burning.
- Trim candlewicks to ¼ inch before each use to promote an even burn and reduce soot.
- Avoid burning a candle for longer than 3–4 hours at a time to prevent overheating and ensure the candle burns evenly.
- Always extinguish candles completely before leaving the room or going to bed. Double-check there are no glowing embers left behind.
- Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame rather than blowing it out to minimize smoke and hot wax splatter.
